This action allows you to examine a Gmail inbox and collect email addresses of current and incoming emails.

Fields

1. Email Address - This is where you configure what part of the email you want to retrieve and log as a structured data.

Demonstration on how to use it in a flow

1. Drag and drop Parse Email action into the flow.

2. The Name section is pre-filled by the action name but you can configure this section according to your preference.

3. Click the gear icon to open its settings.

   

4. In the Email Address field, click the “Insert data from previous step” icon. And under References select the email element you want to parse, such as From.

   

Result

Upon executing a flow that contains Parse Email Address action, it will automatically examine each incoming email and retrieve the email address and log it as structured data.
