Usage

This action is used to convert a file’s contents to string format.

Fields

1. File Payload - The file payload that you would like to convert into a string.

2. Encoding - Encoding refers to the process of converting data into a specific format for storage or transmission. here you can choose the desired type of encoding.

Demonstration on how to use it in a flow

1. Drag and drop Convert File Contents to String action into the flow.

2. The Name section is pre-filled by the action name but you can configure this section according to your preference.

3. Click the gear icon to open its settings.

   

4. Enter the file’s payload.

5. Specify the type of encoding for the string value.
