October Product Updates: New Actions, Improved File Management, and More
We’re thrilled to introduce our latest product updates for October. Let’s walk through the new and updated actions, as well as Flow Designer enhancements that we’ve rolled out over the past month.
1. New action: Convert File Contents to String
This new action allows you to convert file contents to a string, with encoding options that include ASCII, BigEndianUnicode, Default, Latin, Unicode, UTF-8, and UTF-32. Whether you need to extract and manipulate text data from files or encode file contents in a specific format, this action is your go-to solution. It provides flexibility for various use cases and helps you seamlessly integrate file data into your automated workflows.
2. New action: Convert Any Value to JSON String
Simplifying the process of working with JSON data, Zenphi now offers an action to convert any value into a JSON string.
3. Updated action: Generate Document Using Template – Insert File Payload as Image
Enjoy the updated “Generate Document Using Template” action! Now, you can insert the file payload as an image placeholder in your generated document, rather than just using a URL. This improvement provides more flexibility and customization options when creating documents from templates.
4. Updated action: Math Operator – Absolute Difference
Your “Math Operator” action just got even more powerful! We’ve added the capability to calculate the absolute difference between two numbers. This new feature will come in handy when you need to find the absolute value of the result, ignoring any negative signs. It’s another tool in your kit to perform complex calculations and handle data with precision.
5. Updated action: If Condition – Support for File Payload
Handling file payloads is a common requirement for many zenphi users. With this update, the If Condition action now supports file payloads, making it easier to create conditional branches based on file-related criteria. This enhancement streamlines your workflows, providing more dynamic and sophisticated automation capabilities.
6. Updated actions: Get Items from Quickbooks
Zenphi’s Quickbooks integration just got even better with new settings available within the “Get” actions. These enhancements provide greater control and flexibility when retrieving bills, customers, expenses, invoices, terms, and vendors tailored to your specific requirements.
“Order by” field
Now, you have the power to organize your retrieved items based on your preferences. Whether you need them sorted by date, value, or any other criteria, the “Order by” setting allows you to refine the results, making it easier to find and work with the data that matters most to you.
“Select fields to return” field
With the “Select fields to return” option, you can pick the fields you want, ensuring that you receive precisely the data you need. The parameters at your disposal include ID, Sync token, Transaction dates, Due date, and various other item-specific fields.
7. Flow Designer Enhancements: Token Icons
In the Flow Designer, we’re constantly striving to improve your automation-building experience. In this update, we’ve focused on enhancing the appearance of tokens in the token picker input. Now, you’ll find a source icon associated with tokens, making it easier to identify and select the right tokens for your workflow.
